Description
The 6S 24V 20A BMS Battery Protection Board is designed for building and protecting 6-series (6S) lithium-ion battery packs, including packs made from 18650 cells. It provides essential battery management functions such as overcharge, over-discharge, over-current and short-circuit protection, while integrated cell balancing helps maintain more consistent voltage across the individual cells. Designed for a 6S lithium-ion configuration, the board supports a nominal pack voltage of approximately 22.2V and a fully charged voltage of 25.2V when standard 3.7V/4.2V Li-ion cells are used. It is commonly marketed as a 24V BMS because it is intended for the 24V-class battery systems. With a rated current of up to 20A, this BMS is suitable for applications such as electric bicycles, scooters, solar lighting systems, portable battery packs, robotics and other rechargeable lithium battery projects.
