Wireless modules are how a project stops being tethered — sending sensor readings to a dashboard, talking to a phone, triggering something across a compound, or reporting in over the mobile network from somewhere with no WiFi at all. We stock NRF24L01 transceivers, Bluetooth modules, LoRa boards, GSM/GPRS modules such as the SIM800L, and RF remote pairs.

Pick by range and by what is at the other end. Bluetooth suits short-range links to a phone in the same room. NRF24L01 modules are cheap and effective for board-to-board links over tens of metres and are a common choice for RC and sensor networks. LoRa trades data rate for genuinely long range, which makes it the right answer for agricultural and remote-monitoring projects around Kenya. A GSM module like the SIM800L works anywhere there is mobile coverage and can send SMS alerts, but needs a Safaricom or Airtel SIM and — importantly — a supply that can deliver a 2A current spike during transmission, which is the single most common reason these modules keep restarting.
