Description
The L9110S Motor Driver Board is a compact dual-channel H-Bridge motor driver module designed for controlling small DC motors and stepper motors using Arduino, ESP32, STM32 and other microcontrollers. Based on the L9110S motor driver IC, the module allows you to control the direction and speed of two DC motors independently. Alternatively, its two H-Bridge channels can be used together to drive a 4-wire bipolar stepper motor. Motor speed can be controlled using a PWM signal from your microcontroller, while changing the input logic controls forward, reverse and stop functions. Unlike older bipolar-transistor motor drivers such as the L298N, the L9110S is particularly useful for compact, low-voltage and low-current motor projects. Its small size and simple interface make it ideal for robot cars, small mobile robots, educational projects, motorized mechanisms and Arduino experiments.

| Maximum usable current depends on supply voltage, motor characteristics, PCB design and cooling. For reliable operation, avoid running the module continuously at its absolute maximum current. | |
| Typical Applications | |
| The L9110S is suitable for Arduino robot cars, small DC motor projects, educational robots, line-following robots, obstacle-avoidance robots, small pumps, fans, miniature mechanisms, stepper motor experiments and other embedded motion-control projects. | |
| Motor Control | |
| For a DC motor, the two control inputs determine the motor's direction. Applying PWM to an appropriate input allows the microcontroller to regulate motor speed. | |
| Because the board contains two independent H-Bridges, you can control two DC motors separately—particularly useful for differential-drive robot cars where the left and right motors need independent direction and speed control. |
