The PZEM-004T-100A V3.0 is a high-precision AC single-phase multifunction energy monitoring module designed to measure and monitor electrical parameters in real time. It can accurately measure AC voltage, current, active power, power factor, frequency, and accumulated energy consumption, making it ideal for energy monitoring, smart home systems, industrial control, Arduino projects, and IoT applications.

This version uses an external split-core current transformer (CT clamp) capable of measuring up to 100A without requiring direct connection to the high-current line. The split CT design improves safety and makes installation easier because the clamp simply clips around the live wire.

The PZEM-004T V3.0 communicates through a TTL serial interface using the Modbus-RTU protocol. This allows it to connect directly to microcontrollers and control systems such as Arduino, ESP32, STM32, Raspberry Pi, PLCs, and industrial controllers. The improved V3.0 version offers faster refresh rates, more stable communication, and higher accuracy than earlier versions.

The module has an accuracy class of 1.0, making it suitable for precise monitoring of household appliances, solar systems, battery inverters, generators, workshop machines, and energy management systems. It can continuously monitor the electrical consumption of a single-phase AC circuit and store the accumulated energy reading even after power is removed.
